Mt. St. Piran is short, easy hike and has stunning views of the peaks in the Lake Louise area. It is a great hike to do before work, or on a day when you're just feeling something less strenuous. You will be rewarded with beautiful mountain and glacier views without pushing yourself too hard.

From the Lake Louise parking lot, follow the trail past the front of the lake, and stay right and go into the forest when the boardwalk forks near the side of the hotel. From here, follow signs for Little Beehive. You will go past mirror lake and continue hiking up. The trail branches right eventually for the Little Beehive. Shortly past this point, you will see another trail sign and someone has scratched in Mt. St. Piran. Follow this trail up. The trail is straightforward from here. It goes up past the tree line, then takes you through lots of rocks all the way to the summit. Enjoy beautiful views of the Lake Louise area, and then follow your same route for the descent. Roundtrip time 3-4 hours.
