Beautiful 2 mile roundtrip trail to Grandview Point Overlook in Canyonlands National Park (Islands in the Sky Portion). The overlook gives a gorgeous 360 degree view of the park including a portion of the Needles District.

The trail is paved for the first 300 feet and then the terrain becomes rocky. It begins at the end of Grand View Point Drive. The rocky portion is loosely marked with cairns, is moderate skill level, and there is not much elevation gain. There are some rocky stairs which are a bit rough but totally accessible. When you reach the overlook, I recommend climbing the large pile of rocks at the end of the trail. It's easy to scale and the view from the top is like no other! Enjoy!
