This lake has an awesome cliff jumping spot on the opposite side of the lake as the parking lot. A lot of fishermen, paddle boarders, and kayakers out enjoying the lake too. Make sure to get their early-ish on a summer weekend if you want a good parking spot - this lake is super accessible so its very popular.

One of the best cliff jumping spots in Mammoth! Remember your bug spray. Not a super strenuous or long hike so its great for kids/for a quick adventure when you dont have all day or all the energy for a big hike.

This park is so nice to hang out in post-big adventure (or anytime, really)! The grass in the summer is perfect for soccer or picnics. There’s a little mini skatepark, bathrooms, picnic tables, coal grills, a playground, a half basketball court, a beach volleyball court with two nets, and a few baseball fields.

Great place for an easy (mostly flat) walk around the lake. We went in mid-July and it was the perfect weather to jump in! Morning isn’t too buggy, but make sure to bring bug spray just in case. A lot of leashed doggos out, as well as kids. There’s also a good beginner rock climbing spot that we saw a guided group of kids getting geared up for!

So easy to park along the street anywhere near Best Pizza in Cardiff, or anywhere along the 101 if you want to start on that side of the loop! Views of the ocean are amazing from this loop. Dog friendly with a leash!
