Swimming hole looks beautiful in winter and the water is actually warmer than the air temperature (1F when I visited). The swimming hole is about midway between a bridge over the Buck River and the Sandisfield Townhall. There is a gravel pullout for one car right at the bridge and ample parking at the Townhall. The swimming hole is on the other side of the toad railing. I bushwacked down to the river just from whete the rail begins.
