Trail is well marked and branches out in lots of direction. Nice tree coverage on sunny or rainy days and there is a secret troll at the bottom of the trails by the ocean.

Beautiful and short hike that loops around. Went through the section to Watmough head which looks out at some of the other islands and washington coast

This is a great campground that is well maintained and has friendly staff. I stayed for 2 nights ($20 per night) and enjoyed my stay. the campground was pretty quiet and the bathrooms are very clean for being pit toilets.

This is an awesome and sort of hidden gem located in the Coconino forest. I recommend to anyone with a good clearance car or 4x4. (Flagstaff route on the FS231 is much easier than the fs535 route btw)

This is an awesome trail with just about every type of alpine sierra nevada landscape you can imagine. There are climbs up to tops of peaks, and descents down into valleys. The most rewarding day is coming down from Half Dome into Yosemite valley. You pass by the two falls through the mist trail and finally ending up in the heart of Yosemite NP

The slot is a must-see if you live nearby. It will feel like a Star Wars/Dune movie set while you walk between these huge stone walls. The trail is not technical and mainly flat ground but great views.

Deer canyon, in addition to being a hiking trail, also has three dispersed camp sites (Upper and Lower Moro and Deer Canyon) which can be backpacked to and camped at with a permit. Here you will find great weather and views all year. Definitely recommend if you are in Orange County and looking for a small backpacking experience

This is a really cool trail that leads you downhill into a forested area with ferns and a tunnel through the mountain, opening up to this cove above sealevel. The hike back up can be annoying on a hot day but worth checking out

This is a great and easy trail inside Pfeiffer park with one trail leading to the waterfall and another that goes to an overlook of the campground and the coast. Highly recommend checking it out at least once if you are in big sur

This is a pretty long and difficult trail as it is mainly uphill but very rewarding when you reach the top. I would recommend doing this trail in the morning to avoid mid-day sun and wear the right shoes but you will enjoy it with good conditions.

I started this hike from the top loop in Blue Jay Campground which is a beautiful downhill trail with lots of greenery and creeks running through it
