Easy to park in the morning. Trail is maintained well, can get crowded with events going on. They stock trout during the Winter months infrequently! Elk Grove Historical Society is also located here.

Crowded during the Spring and Summer months. Bring water! There’s not too much cover.

Beautiful bike trail. Well-maintained and offers views along the river. Highly recommend in the warmer months, but start early in the morning! Can get congested in the afternoon.

Good lil spot for fishing. Fun to catch bluegill in the Summer months with a worm under a bobber on an ultralight rig.

They stock trout during the winter, but the bass fishing and carp fishing is pretty good during the warmer months. The back side of the lake is pretty secluded and fun to fish. You can rent boats at the Marina, but the shore fishing isn’t bad.

Nice area! Really crowded during the afternoon. Highly recommended to do this hike in the morning or late evening. The farther you get along the trail, the easier it’ll be to take photos without crowds.

Visitor’s Center is a must visit! The ranger there is very knowledgable about what animals and birds are out and about. All the trails are great for bird watching.

Highly recommend walking from the Bamboo Forest through Arashiyama Park to the Oigawa River. Bathrooms within Arashiyama Park were not crowded at all!
