Salt Creek Greenway Trail is an out-and-back trail that is good for all skill levels located near Brookfield, Illinois.

This trail is 5.8 miles of paved path, which is ideal for biking (especially those of us with road bikes), skating, and even running. The trail runs point-to-point and runs along the Salt Creek in Brookfield, IL. The trailhead is right near the Brookfield Zoo (for anyone with kids!). 

Salt Creek Greenway Red Paved Trail is a loop trail that takes you by a river located near La Grange Park, Illinois.

Salt Creek Greenway (Black Unpaved Loop) is a loop trail that provides a good opportunity to view wildlife located near Berwyn, Illinois.

Trailside Museum and Thatcher Woods Hiking Trail is a loop trail that is good for all skill levels located near River Forest, Illinois.

York Woods Forest Preserve: Salt Creek Greenway is a loop trail that provides a good opportunity to view wildlife located near Oak Brook, Illinois.

This is a six-mile loop along the banks of the Salt Creek in Oakbrook, IL. The flat trail features trees and wildflowers (great walk to do in autumn). Trail is also good for bike riders. There is a picnic area and the Graue Mill and Museum. Graue Mill is 150 years old and played a part in the Underground Railroad.  

Mayslake Forest Preserve is a 1.0mile out-and-back trail that takes you by a lake located near Oak Brook, Illinois.

Bloomingdale Trail is an out-and-back trail that is good for all skill levels located near Chicago, Illinois.
