Impressive waterfall with a relatively short hike.
Gabbro Falls is on the Black River and is as impressive waterfall. This wild waterfall does not have any fences or barriers, so view with caution from above. Getting there, take Black Jack Road north. This road will take a sharp left turn and will go by the ski hill. Before you get to the ski hill there's a little bridge that crosses the river. Park on side of road before river and you'll see trail signs on the left. This appears to be a ATV trail. Follow this trail and the blue markings until you get to the fork in the trail. Continue to the right, shortly after you should see a small marked trail leading down the river.
The only con about this hike is how muddy it is, so wear right footwear and leave an extra pair of socks in the car!
If you want to see the falls from the other side/above, continue on the road that passes the ski hill and park shortly after it.

Hike to Gabbro Falls Reviews
Excellent waterfall, but there's actually an easier way to get to it! If you continue past the bridge, and through the Blackjack parking lot, turn left up a service road for less than a quarter-mile. There is a wayside on the left. Park there, and the falls are less than 50 yards away!
