A strategic outpost since fur-trading days, Kingston lies at the juncture of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Massive Fort Henry presides on a hilltop above the city, overlooking the lake and up the river toward the 1000 Islands. Ten minutes from the campground, tour boats leave to cruise the islands. A sundeck and heated pool, 9-hole mini-golf course, doggy play-ground, Jump Pad and other attractions encourage lazy hours on KOA's treed grounds - except when ice cream socials and other events take over, in season. This big-rig friendly KOA offers level Pull-Thru RV Sites and some Patio RV Sites with patio furniture and a wooden swing set. The rec hall is perfect for any size group. Wir sprechen Deutsch. Pool: Victoria Weekend - Labour Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 76 feet. Your hosts: Patrick, Amanda & Hans Wagner.
