A great spot to learn to KiteboardFriendly and accommodating fellow boardersFood and rental shops near by
Although it's not the best spot, this is the most consistent and predictable wind spot in the area. On a sunny day it can get crowded but mostly with beginners so be prepared.

SUP from Kings Beach
This is a super fun way to enjoy the day, get some exercise and see some really cool parts of the lake that are usually hidden. You can rent boards/ paddles at a few different places either for the day or by the hour. Bring some water, sun block and a camera...if you dare! Once the day is done and you want a hearty, delicious meal, make your way to Baxter's Bistro (http://baxtersbistro.com/) ...
Walk to the Historic Stateline Fire Lookout site
The hike up to the Historic Stateline Fire Lookout above Lake Tahoe's Crystal Bay area is somewhat of a misnomer, as the fire lookout no longer exists. Instead, the path, which follows a paved forest road, up to the site where the tower once stood will bring hikers to a panoramic viewpoint that looks out over wide swaths of the northern Tahoe lakeshores.

Stateline Fire Lookout
This quick 1.4-mile RT hike takes you to a lookout point above the Stateline of California and Nevada. The road to the lookout is paved so beginners can make the trek to the top in the summer; winter covers the road with snow, so snowshoes or boots are recommended. The lookout offers spectacular views of North Lake Tahoe from Incline Village and the east shore to Tahoe City and the west shore. ...
Carnelian Bay
Located on the northwest side of Lake Tahoe, Carnelian Bay is a fun place to spend the afternoon. However, there is no sand at Carnelian Bay as the ground is all large rocks. It's a great place to go swimming or SUPing in the summer, and it has a pier that you can jump off. It is usually less crowded than main beaches of Lake Tahoe, which is a great plus!
Bike or Take a Stroll along the Tahoe East Shore Trail
Lake Tahoe's East Shore Trail is a wide paved walking and cycling path running between Incline Village and Sand Harbor State Park. Opened in 2019, the path lies completely separate from the road, sometimes hovering well above it on the mountainside, and other times running parallel to it on a bridge platform that looks down upon the lake's emerald eastern shore.

Monkey Rock
This is a short but rewarding outing: The hike to Monkey Rock is around 2.6 miles round-trip with about 460 feet of elevation gain.
It’s located just above the northeast shore of Lake Tahoe near Incline Village, Nevada, and is famous for the granite formation shaped like a monkey (hence the name) — and the stunning lake views you get at the top.
