Not truly a glacier but still a neat icefield to see. The views are amazing at the top and this can be a fun wintertime hike too.

I really enjoyed viewing this falls in person, it's just rocky and not super photographic like most Colorado falls.

Can't beat the views of Boulder.

Great views of the Flatirons and a relatively easy trail compared to others in the area.

This is one of my favorite mountain biking loops near Boulder, especially when it's hot down in the city. If you're lucky you might see some wild turkeys too.

I ran this at night during a meteor shower and it was fun. Fairly smooth trail with some great night sky views in the burn area.

Short trail that's useful to connect with others for a long running loop in the park.

The view is stunning here, as long as the lake is melted. I've been in May multiple times and the conditions have been different each time.

This is one of the most amazing parks in Oregon and close to tons of other incredible falls. If you campgrounds are full there's nearby state forest.

I prefer this area over nearby RMNP. Less crowds, beautiful trails, and dog friendly.

This place is stunning in mid-spring when the verdant vegetation contrasts with the red rocks.

This is a pretty spot to relax, not very photogenic though.

You'll likely have sunrise to yourself in the summer but you still have to deal with crowds on the way down and lots of cars on the road.

This is a great trail to connect with others for a long run in the park.

One of the better trails in the foothills near Denver. Sections of the park are closed in the winter months for hunting and elk habitat.

Best view in Grand Canyon NP. My first time here I had an incredible sunrise. Great dark skies for night photography too.

This makes a great foreground for northern lights shots.

Stunning waterfall that unfortunately has bright lights on it at night. It can be very crowded here in the day even during the cold winter months.

Incredible canyon that you'll have to work for to get a great shot of.

The times I've been up here the winds have been 50mph+ for sunrise, so a hammock isn't a good idea. The trail is usually pretty packed down unless there's been snow overnight.

Great view of the city and very few people there.

Fairly easy to get to and lots of solitude in the off-seasons.

Stunning views and a relaxing run in the spring.

A beautiful falls in The Gorge, not quite as iconic as some of the others though.
