Two hot spring pools accessible year round with camping at the bottom of the trail along a small river. There are breathtaking views and wildlife opportunities and it is an easy hike.
This Adventure is about an hour and a half's drive south west of Missoula Montana into Idaho. the parking lot is easy to find and it is generally uncrowded in the middle of the week, the trail is a short easy hike and can even be made by a toddler in most weather. We have been a couple of times there are 2 hot spring fed pools that are around 108 degrees a small secluded pool and a large pool with a better view of the river below. the photos with snow are from the larger pool in the winter, it is large enough for about 10 people, and the summer photos are of the smaller pool in the summer it is comfortable for about 2 to 3 people. it is definitely worth the drive the scenery to get there is worth it on its own it is part of the Lolo national forest. There is little cell phone service after you enter the mountains as well.
