Old San Juan feels like the cultural heart of Puerto Rico. When I picture the Caribbean, I think of these streets.

This is a historic site in San Juan. It's also a great place to fly a kite (because of the trade winds).

This rain forest is a very beautiful hike. However, it has changed since the hurricane a couple years ago.

It's easy to find a place to park if you get there early in the morning, otherwise the turnouts are pretty packed. Its a really pretty waterfall that goes right to the beach

We got here early in the morning and there were only a couple other cars. Very easy to pull into any turnouts you want. When we were coming back, it was so packed, not sure how people can stop there without just getting lucky later in the day. You can get iconic views of the bridge here

This is a beach north of Santa Cruz and is a good place to go if you want to avoid the crowds of town.

Manresa is a beach break that is south of Santa Cruz. It's a fun wave when the sandbar is good, but the water is sharky so be careful!

Lovers Point is a fun novelty wave in Monterey. It breaks on a bigger NW swell and is a left!

Big Sur is arguably the most beautiful place in all of California! And Hwy is definitely the way to see it!

This place was made for mountain biking! Fun trails to bike in Monterey/Salinas

Fun wave in big surf, the water is clean but waves can get big so always be careful

Beautiful hike that overlooks all of San Luis Obispo. It's very popular among Cal Poly students!

Fun beach to go surf in Malibu area, but it can get crowded.

The Venice canals are surprisingly beautiful.

Palos Verde is a beautiful suburb in between LA and Long Beach. It's a great place to find a place on the cliff and watch the sun set!

Home of the closeouts. It's north of Manhattan Beach and is a very popular spot for LA residents

There are fun waves during the summer!

Seal Beach is a cool little town on the edge of LA and Orange county. It's not the cleanest beach but has fun beginner waves on the North side of the pier.

This is an underrated part of Huntington Beach. It's less crowded than the beaches closer to the pier.

Heavy heavy wave, paddle out if you dare. It's notorious for getting people injured, so be careful.

The PCH is iconic California, no better road to drive on . . . minus all the traffic.

Fun place to paddle, while looking at all the houses you can't afford.

This is a beautiful boardwalk that overlooks Salt Creek. Great for jogs as well

Creek is a very fun wave in Dana Point. There is a left hand point as well as peaks everywhere, pick a place to surf!
