Great place to get a good hike in close to town. Part of the trail is shared with mtbs the other part is shared with dirtbikes. Just be aware of your surroundings it’s usually pretty busy when its nice outside

Awesome hike/scramble! Expect boulder scrambling for quite a bit of it, there are arrows and markings painted on the boulders so watch for those! The lake is beautiful and definitely worth the trek! This is a pretty popular trail in the summer, so be prepared for a full parking area.

I did this as an add on to the highline trail and man it was a doozy! I questioned my decision about half way up but kept chugging along and it was well worth it! Its short but steep all the way to the top. I saw someone get engaged while up there too! Beautiful spot at the top to sit down have some snacks and water and recover from the climb up and take it all in.

This is an incredible hike! There isnt much elevation gain and its shorter making it accessible to many more people. The lake and the views are pretty dang incredible. It is usually pretty busy as it is easy access and shorter, but well worth it!

Great little hike! Well maintained, easy trail. Goes to a big waterfall that you can scramble over some rock to get to the base of it. Great family hike and great place to stop and stetch the legs. Its a beautiful drive around here

This is a must do, at least once! It is pretty busy on the weekends but its easy to get spread out when you stop to take in the view. Recommend packing a lunch to take and enjoying it along the way. Beautiful scenery all along there, multiple tunnels, including a 2 miles long one. (Bring/rent lights!) You have the option to ride back up or hope a shuttle back to the parking area.

I did the Kellogg to Wallace section of this trail and it took a couple hours. Quite a distance but it was all paved and maintained and the trail was not crowded

Very well maintained trail. A good 6+ miles RT if you go all the way to the end. Some good inclines but very doable. Great for families, and usually pretty busy on the weekends

This is a fantastic trail for all ages! Close to town and easy parking along the road. Stop in Wallace for some good burgers before heading home! The trail is very well marked and clear. It is a pretty popular trail, so I would recommend trying to go during the week if you want less people

Nice trail leading to a view point of the east end of cda lake. Pictures were from December so lake is lower than it normally is in the summer. Trail isnt super long, but there are some good inclines. Pretty trail through the trees, take your time and enjoy it!

Nice little hike. You dont really get views of the lake until you are close to the end, but its still a beautiful hike. Its an easy and pretty flat trail, does get a little overgrown at times but the trail is still easy to follow. Theres an old tractor about halfway in just off the trail. This is a perfect trail for kids or those who are unable to do a lot of incline!

This is a great place to get out and hike or mtb. Usually clear by early spring when youre itchin to get outside and play in the dirt. Its a great beginner mtb area as well. Pretty views from the top and a nice little downhill back to the parking lot!

Great place to spend the day. You can get to the lake on a quad or side by side… maybe a keep if you know what you’re doing. There’s a pretty decent hill at the beginning that would make getting a vehicle up tough. You’re able to walk around the lake and very doable for kids of any age

I’ve done this one a lot, either on the way to or from another hike since it’s short and easy. There’s an upper and lower falls, it splits about a mile down the trail. The upper has better views of the falls and easy access to the water.

Super cool trail! The kids love exploring and going through the crack in the ground. Some areas you have to come out and go around unless you want to rock climb. The road to it makes you think you are going the wrong way… you’re not. It’s very bumpy and washboarded but I promise if you keep following the road you see the parking area! Bring a light jacket as the temperature drops a lot down in the crack

This is a great hike and a butt kicker! I like that you can loop it and don’t have to go out and back the same trail. Remember when you’re “done” you still have to hike back up to the parking lot!
