Love hiking, pack rafting, backpacking, offroading - anything that gets me outside!

Beautiful trail, not crowded for June but there looks to still be a lot of snow in the trails past the lake. No snow on trail to Long Lake.

Beautiful drive into the Chisos mountain basin. The road is not recommended for vehicles with trailers due to the steel grade and winding road. A sunrise drive through the canyon gives some amazing views!

So many nooks and crannies to explore here! This hike takes you through a wash for a short time, the loose rocks make eqch step just a tiny bit difficult buts its not far till you reach the first big tinaja. Hike up amd around to continue exploring the canyon till it deadends at another pool. Look for hidden vaves, holes and cool formations! Watch out for bees near the water. You do need a 4x4 vehicle to get down the road.

Very cool trail, totally different than a lot of areas of Big Bend. Trail starts out pretty flat until the last leg where it climbs up to the rock. There is a bit of scrambling but nothing terrible, trail is well marked with posts.

Great trail, a mild incline the way in until you get to the last 1/2 miles or so and it gets steeper up to the pourover where water would be running if its not deought season. Amazing diversity, so cool seeimg evergreens, deciduous trees ans cacti wll in one environment. Great views in the way out. Lots of loose rock on the trail so trekking poles are useful.

Lots of cool hoodoos and nooks and crannies to explore. Would recommend the first part counter clockwise if you dont have the time to do the whole loop, lots of little caverns and amazing views that way. The trail is moderately strenuous, the heart of rocks loop has a few steep scrambling sections, but overall awesome park and great trail!

A great intro drive to Organ Pipe Cactus NM, easily accessible by any sedan, some areas are dirt and some sections paved. Lots of spots to stop amd take in views and do a little hike. Would recommend walking into Arch canyon a bit as well as Estes Canyon along this road. Most of the road is one way so be prepared to drive all 20 miles.

Amazing views and lots of organ pipe cactus along the way. A decent little loop woth kist a bit of gain at the switchbacks. I did the trail counterclockwise but might recommend clockwise to save on the knees a bit.
