Daley ranch has so many trails! Your hike can be as long or short as you want.

A real thigh burner, for sure. Keep in mind highway 15 is right there, so you may hear traffic for the first bit. At the middle, you can choose to go left to stay on the trail, or head right to go around the back. Youll be on pavement for a portion, but if youre looking for a real workout, go right! The best part for me is that it is a 9/11 memorial with markers along the way to show what floor of the twin tower you'd be on. Its a lovely tribute to one of the pilots who was from Fallbrook.

The beginning is flat and unassuming. Lots of people wtih dogs and young kids. The trail gets more challenging once youre on the riverbed. I like to call it a "choose your own adventure" as there are multiple paths to check out, never leading you too far off. Especially handy when there are slower people in front. It gets crowded, so start early!

This trail is currently closed! We tried to go a little ways in on the road but was stopped by a volunteer who warned of $5000 fines if caught by an officer. Do not attempt!

Beautiful hike on 11/3/24. Rained the night before, so it smelled amazing throughout the entire hike. Chairs are fun towards the end, but bring hand sanitizer bc the ropes to help you up and down are gross. New house being built near the end, their poor dog barked nonstop at us, even as we sat at the top having a snack.
