We hiked in late November, just after a storm had come through, so the last mile was snow hiking. There were several downed trees toward the last mile. One tree had fallen on the rope at the creek crossing. We were able to make it across very carefully and re-tie the rope correctly. Much better return trip. The hot springs are pristine! This is a great day trip, but I would love the spend the night up there as well.
