Passionate about movement, mindfulness, and adventure. Find me exploring San Antonio’s trails, running with my people, zenning out at yoga, and hiking with my pup. Always seeking new places, new experiences, and new ways to inspire others to get outside!
Shady paths wind beneath tall cypress, with chances to spot herons, turtles, and deer. My dog, Winnie, loved the water access and soft terrain, and I loved how grounded this trail feels just outside the city.

Spent the day exploring the Missions with my mom, and it was such a wonderfully memorable experience. Each site offers a glimpse into the region’s history and culture, and walking the grounds together made it even more special. The architecture is incredible, especially the hand-carved details and weathered stonework standing the test of time. It’s an easy, scenic walk with lots of photo-worthy stops, quiet moments, and well-kept paths. Highly recommend as a relaxing and educational outing! It is great for families, history lovers, or anyone who wants to slow down and take it all in.

Took my doggo out for a morning walkabout and loved how peaceful and shaded this trail was! Most of the route offers great cover, which helped us beat the heat in May. I really appreciated the clear signage marking poison ivy and snake habitat areas: made it easy to stay aware and safe. It’s only about 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio. A perfect nearby escape for dog-friendly adventures!
