I grew up on Denman Island BC and now I am currently based in Alberta. I love hiking, photography and road trips. I'm also a huge waterfall junkie ans aurora chaser.

I love this waterfall and where it is located. 100 percent recommend it to anyone needing a quick break while driving past.

This is my favourite place on Denman to hike. I grew up on this island and lived there for 19 years. The views and the eagles and other wildlife viewing are stunning.

A great place to go for an afternoon walk or to camp near a beach on Denman Island. There is some pretty cool history at this park.

If you can bring snowshoes with you because some of the snow you may have to trek through could be pretty deep. Due to snow drifts. Other than that it's well worth the short hike up some steep ish terrain to get to the ice cave. It's also pretty dang big!

This hike wasn't long but it was stunningly beautiful and a fun hike along the cliffs. If you are road tripping thru and need to get out and stretch the legs this is a perfect spot.

Secluded and not busy. An awesome 30 minute round trip hike to the base of this magnificently small but so tall waterfall

Short but steep hike and worth it 100%

My friends and I went to Malgine Canyon to walk/hike in it while it is frozen and let me tell you it was AMAZING! So neat being able to walk on a frozen river in a huge canyon. Do it if you can!

I love this waterfall in the winter and the summer. If you get the chance you should check it out in both seasons! Well worth it.

It is a super short walk to get to the bridge to check out these falls. They are stunning in spring, winter, summer and fall, just like all of Jasper is! Check it out if you get the chance.

The coolest part about this waterfall is my mom has the same maiden name, Nairn. Anyways, most of the hike is relatively easy until you get to the last couple hundred feet of it as it gets pretty rocky so just watch your step and you should be fine. The falls are beautiful and thunderous well worth a stop if you are driving along Hwy 99.

It's hard to believe that this beautiful park is right in a big city. The views are amazing and so is the hiking within it. Plus being able to soak up some sun on a warm day on the rocks while looking at the lighthouse and the ships come into the port and the birdwatching makes it even better.
