You can pick up a self-guided walk brouchure that offers facts, history and more as you walk through the grove. Great even on a rainy day like when I visited. You can also take trian through redwoods right near this loop.

Lovely wildflower hike in spring. It can be hot so take plenty of water and watch out for rattle snakes! There is a porta potty at trailhead. Parking can fill up and the narrow trail can get busy during peak wildflower season.

Taft point is a wonderful, short hike with epic views of Yosemite Valley below. Get there early to get parking as it can fill quickly. Trailhead is only accessible when Glacier Point road is open. Vault toilets at start of hike. Practice caution when at Taft Point with steep falls along edge.

Went in early November and had perfect weather for our honeymoon backpacking trip. Did day 1 up to Los Torres as a day hike since we couldn’t find accomodations for the first night. Accomodations were aweesome at refugios Cuernos, Paine Grande and Grey. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat.
