Photograph Salmon Creek's Beached Ship

The beached ship is located in Northern California about 2 miles (1.9 mi) north of Bodega Bay, 33.9 miles from Point Reyes Station and 68.8 miles north of San Francisco. Just 24.6 miles west of Santa Rosa. From Santa Rosa take CA-12 W, also known as Bodega Ave. After driving through the town of Sebastopol remain on CA-12 W which is now known as Bodega Hwy. Take Bodega Hwy through the town of Bodega and make a right at CA-1 (SR 1) also known as Shoreline Hwy/Bodega Hwy. Continue all the way through Bodega Bay. Once arriving at the unincorporated community of Salmon Creek, which will mostly be on your left, about two miles north of Bodega Bay, look out for Bean Ave and make a left. A small sign that says Bean Ave will be on your right. You will only be able to make a left as there is no road on the right (east side) side. Bean Ave will take you through Salmon Creek and to Salmon Creek Beach. There is a small parking lot for beach parking. From San Francisco take the US 101 north to exit 479 (Railroad Ave), in Sonoma County, right before Rohnert Park. Make a left on to Railroad Ave for about .4 miles. Turn right on to Stony Point Rd. Stay on Stony Point Rd. for 1.7 miles and then turn left on to Roblar Rd. Stay on Roblar Rd. until its end (6.5 mi). Turn right on to Valley Ford Rd. and go for about 5.5 miles until it converts in to CA-1. Take all the way towards Bodega Bay to Salmon Creek. From here same as above, make a left on Bean Ave. From Point Reyes Station just follow the CA-1 north to Salmon Creek towards Bodega Bay. Same as above, make left on Bean Ave. Take great pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenic views.
