Snorkeling off of La Jolla Shores is pretty mellow on any day. Just make sure you pay attention to the changes in current so you dont get swept too far south. You can put your stuff on the little shelf at the Marine Room and SHUFFLE out into the surf. In the summer, you can see the Leopard Sharks and some other variety of fish. Once and a while, a pesky hammerhead will be around. The water can be quite chilly as well so be prepared! Go early, parking can be a bit of a bear!!
