Description

This is a low key spot to get outside and spend some time in nature.

This park has a lot to offer with trails that run several miles. I did an easy leg that runs from the parking lot off Regents Road, exit off the 52 freeway, and took the trail west towards the 5 freeway. The park runs along the 52 freeway, and while there is some car noise from it, you can easily ignore it as well.

Depending on the time if year there are small streams and ponds that appear along the trail. Once you get to the end of the park, the trail forks right and left to continue to other points, or you can return along the path. Lots of small wildlife and plenty of wild plants. Be careful of poison oak, it is all over and lines the trail frequently, but if you stay away from it, you shouldn't have a problem. Leaves of three, let it be!
