Beavers Bend State Park has many hidden placeless including a few waterfalls
Beavers Bend State Park is located in far South Eastern Oklahoma 7 miles North of Broken Bow. The Lower Mountain Fork river runs right through the heart of the park . The river provides excellent trout fishing some of the best in the state . The Lower Mountain Fork River is also excellent for kayaking . You can rent kayaks for day trips our you can bring your own . Going up river on a kayak provides for many scenic views go the bluffs and the tress. You will also see plenty of wildlife along the river. Beavers Bend also has many miles of hiking , they have trials for beginners and if you want a challenge then you will enjoy the Skyline Trail . Its pretty steep and about 9 miles long , I would not recommend it for kids. You need to be in pretty good shape to do this one. But the views are worth it. Beavers Bend also has 6 miles of excellent mountain biking trails, they are more on the intermediate side, so I would not recommend them for beginners. Beavers Bend also has some excellent spots for camping and if camping isn't your thing then they also offer cabin rentals . Beavers Bend sufferd some tragic flooding this past year so please check with a park ranger before hitting the trails.

Beavers Bend State Park Reviews
This is a great spot in Oklahoma, perfect for a weekend getaway. There are outfitters in the area if you want to rent a canoe or kayak. Very scenic during the fall months when the leaves are changing
