Fun, scenic hike with lots to offer!

This scenic trail is a 1.2 mile out and back hike that offers views of the dunes, the ocean, and Roanoke Sound.  It’s a beautiful hike with 360 degree views.  This is a must-do if you are in the Outer Banks area! Plus it’s one of the rare free state parks!

Hike Tracks in the Sand Trail at Jockey’s Ridge State Park Reviews

Jockey Ridge is a unique place, it's really just a lot of sand but it is fun to walk around and explore the dunes.

The dunes at Jockey's Ridge are such a beautiful and wonderful experience for the whole family. Run down to the dunes, fly a kite, or catch a ride through the air.
