Hanging Rock State Park has approximately five waterfalls and numerous trails which are easily accessible from the Visitor's Center. The Hanging Rock Trail is a 2.4 mile roundtrip hiking trail which overlooks the surrounding area. Bring your hammock or pack a lunch and enjoy the view!
Hanging Rock State Park offers much for families and those who enjoy the outdoors! Primitive tent camping is approximately $20/night (prices differ during holidays and weekends). They have the cleanest bath houses I have ever seen at a campground! It is not necessary to stay at the park in order to enjoy the waterfalls and scenery. The trails are on average 0.8 miles and can go up to 4 miles+ round trip. Most of the trails begin at the Visitor's Center parking lot. All of the information is available at the Visitor's Center or on the park's website!
