Fulling Mill Falls is a hidden gem nestled in the historic town of Burgin, Kentucky. This picturesque 15-foot waterfall cascades over limestone ledges into a serene pool below, surrounded by native hardwood forest. Located near the historic Fulling Mill distillery site, the falls offer easy access via a short 0.3-mile trail suitable for most skill levels. The Fulling Mill Falls Loop extends this hike to 1.3 miles allowing you to stretch your legs and get a little more time outside.
This Kentucky waterfall flow year-round but are most impressive during spring and after rainfall. Visit in autumn to combine waterfall viewing with vibrant fall foliage. The site provides opportunities for photography, picnicking, and nature observation. Parking is available at nearby Thompson Park.
Note: Due to limestone terrain, exercise caution on slippery rocks. Best viewing times are early morning or late afternoon for optimal lighting and fewer visitors.
