A good workout through hilly terrain, located in the Chicago suburbs.

This trail is great for outdoor exercise, and open to mountain biking, trail running, and hiking. You'll have views of the Fox River along the way.

How to Get There

Nature Trails

My roommate and I went to Saw Wee Kee about a week ago and were a bit skeptical when we first started the trail. It began very near to the road and followed a river before again crossing the road and leading behind a rifle range. The shotgun clamor wasn't too unsettling for a country girl like me, but it will undoubtedly be off-putting for many. We were happy to find several geocaches along the trails though and the water, flora, and fauna (though not much at the time) were quite beautiful. All in all, a recommended spot.
