An out of the way place to learn to surf with plenty of parking and relatively uncrowded. A great slow, rolling wave, that breaks over flat rocks and sand.
Oneula is a nice, slow break, excellent for beginners. The waves are like White Plains, but not nearly as crowded. There is plenty of parking right on the beach, so this is a family friendly location. The vibe in the water and beach is very friendly, with people saying hi in the water and aloha on the beach. It's never too crowded here which again, makes it a great place to learn without the crowds.

One'Ula Beach Park Reviews
Perfect spot to take a day to relax, surf, swim, snorkel, and take it all in. The locals are friendly, say hi and be respectful, especially while surfing. Some really good bbq nearby!

Slow waves were perfect for a beginner day out. Crowds are friendly but scattered, so watch where you go.
