This is a great spot for a weekend with friends or family. Get there early for a campground spot, or take advantage of the awesome primitive spots scattered along the BRT and trail to Indian Creek. The trails also wind in and around the Buffalo, providing some awesome swimming spots. The road to Kyle's is steep, but definitely doable when it's dry. This is a great place to just hang out, explore, and swim in the river. Also, don't miss the Ozark Cafe in nearby Jasper. A great spot for some post-camping food and milkshakes.

This hike became one of our new favorite spots in the Ozarks yesterday. We hiked to Magnolia Falls, up and along the bluff line to an incredible overlook, then back the way we came and continued back onto the old jeep trail to get to Wood Boys Falls and this spot where two creeks intersect. There is much to be explored in this area and you won't see too many other people while you are out there. We will definitely be back to check out a few of the other waterfalls and take advantage of the primitive campsites sprinkled throughout. Tip: Google Maps calls the road that the trailhead is on County Road 6, but the sign on the actual road says "NC 9050"
