Great hike! Not too hard, trail is extremely easy to follow. Some parts of the trail have a heavy amount of rocks but it wasn’t bad.

very beautiful lake, not many people at all (we went a saturday-sunday and there were two other tents). you NEED a vehicle that can handle off roading if you don’t want to walk. We had a decent truck and made it, but it was rough. View is worth the drive.
