Hands down the best place to watch sunset in Boulder. Scientifically proven to make you shed a tear.

Hop in your Subaru and drive up Flagstaff Road. After nearly 4 miles from the bottom of Flagstaff Mountain, there will be a turn off on your right, park in the dirt lot. Walk out to the rocky overlook, find a cozy spot, and plop down on your blanket. This spot is incredible at any time of day, but the sun setting over the spectacular landscape of the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park is unbeatable.

Note: Make sure to pick up after yourself - leave no trace!
