Explore Wreck Beach
Details
Added by Shayne River
Gorgeous sunsets. Stair workout. Nude beach. Sandy shores.
Located on UBC Vancouver campus, Wreck Beach is the only nude beach in Canada. It is a popular destination for students and the public, and is home to the best sunsets seen in Vancouver.
To get to the beach, there is a descent of approximately 500 stairs, so be cautious - going down means having to come back up! Of course, it is optional to be naked while enjoying Wreck Beach; the sunsets are beautiful regardless of whether or not you are clothed!

Great beach
The beach is beautiful (and most people are at least partially dressed), but the stairs are quite challenging.

Back to Campus
Today, I made it down to Wreck Beach since graduating from UBC a few years ago. I forgot how great the sunsets are! Even though today was pretty overcast. Glad we got a break from the rain though! My dog also had a great time running around on the sand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aZVGcft17k
