This is one of my favourite hikes in the Chilliwack area. It's a moderate and steady 3 hour hike featuring some of the most rewarding views of the valley you will find.

This time up the mountain I was expecting snow but not quite as much as we got! Most of the trail was easily passable and had been beaten down by several hikers and snowshoers however as we came out along the final ridge to the first peak all hell broke loose. We hadn't planned on needed snowshoes and had to scramble up through some waist deep snow to get to the top. There were one or two times where I was slightly worried about myself or my companions emediate demise but we powered through and reached the top! The day was incredibly clear and we were rewarded with views of the entire Fraser Valley, Cultus Lake and Harrison Lake.
