I'm a photographer born and raised in the Caribbean. Currently living in Thomasville Georgia where I am attending Thomas University.

Currently walking down from the overlook and man what a sight to see! We chose to hike the west loop trail with a good amount of switch backs! Worth it though

Oh wow this looks like an awesome hike and camp spot with a very awesome view. This is definitely being added to the list.

I am so much for lookout towers and special views. By looking at the pictures this tower has an amazing view. Must do!!

This is so awesome! My gf and I will definitely make it out here sometime, if we can get some time off from school and work. Not everyday you can swim with these majestic creatures.

Had a friend that went to canyon loop on school field trip. He sent me a bunch of pictures and told me I definitely have to make it out there to take some photos. One day I will .

It's so close to me. Need to make some time and make it out there. Possibly get some drone footage.

If you aren't much of a hiker or explorer but are interested in waterfalls, definitely check out French Canyon. The most challenging part is walking down and up the flights of stairs. After reaching the canyon the cool air will be all worth the sweat. This is a fairly easy hike. The easiest one in the park.

Most people do not know about this place because it is right across the road from Starved Rock. If you are planning on hiking starved rock, take a little time out of the day to explore Matthiessen. It is worth the time, TRUST ME!. It is a very short hike but is very cool. Fortunately, I visited when there were and handful amount of people at the waterfall.

The amount of times I have been to starved rock, the main canyons like La Salle Canyon is always crowded. Unfortunately, i have never been able to visit when it isn't crowded. If you are planning on visiting during a public holiday it will be packed and you will have to deal with a lot of people. All in all starved roock and La Salle is a great place to visit for the first time.

My favorite things to take photos of is a beautiful water. I haven't visited as yet but its definitely on my list of waterfalls to visit. I have a tripped planned in early December hopefully it is still running.

As a photographer, you constantly look for the best location to shoot sunset, especially when you are visiting a new place. This lookout looks like a prime place to relax and take some photos. From what I have read about this place. The view is amazing.

So glad I found this spot to camp in. Definitely will be my buddy and I's spot when we make our trip up to North Georgia/Tennessee trip. Can't wait.

Just like everywhere else in Colorado it is beautiful. This hike if fairly easy and is sort of dodgy if the trail is busy because it welcome dogs and bike riders. Other than that it was an easy little hike and very enjoyable. Glad I made time for it.

This was rad looking place. I literally stood at the bottom of this climb and said "nope I'm not doing it". After a long few days of visiting Colorado and hiking almost 5+ miles a day i don't think my body could physically handle these steps and incline.

Literally just a hole in the ground in the middle of an urban-ish area. Really weird and unexpected but cool experience all the same.

Being able to stay with a few friend in Colorado gave me the chance to go on a little off road adventure with them. They took me on this drive during the hotter months of the year so there was no snow. I am glad the road wasn't closed because these views were insane!

I honestly think that this is one of my beautiful waterfalls i have experienced in the midwest. I am glad I took the time to visit here before heading over to starved rock. I visited during the summer months when the falls were flowing. I would definitely go back during the winter months

The red rocks honestly wasn't what i was expecting when my girlfriend and i visited Colorado. Even though it is very beautiful, it is very touristy. I am not one for just visiting a touristy place while exploring a new place. It it obviously free and can be driven through. Enjoyed being there all the same & definitely a must see when visiting Colorado

Loved this place after a long day of being outside and being hot. The spring was very refreshing. Awesome place to go and relax with family or friends.

Apart from the load of people and having to pay 15 per adult it was a great time. The main spring was packed but the smaller ones didnt have anyone in them. If you do not like cold water this isnt the place for you. the springs were very chilling especially the smaller ones. Great little place

Thank you for writing about this. It looks like an awesome little summer trip that I will be taking with my girlfriend. This is spectacular.

This view it like no other. North ave beach gives the view of the skyline but not like this one does. I love the view here.

I can't believe the amount of times ive visited Starved rock i have no been to this canyon. I did the trek to La Salle and just never though to visit Ottawa. Thanks for writing about this. Definitely putting this on my list.

This incredible experience was one of many i had in my time in Colorado. I want to visit again during the summer.
