Hike Cedar Falls/CCC Overlook Cedar Creek Canyon

Cedar Falls Hike: It starts on the back of Mather Lodge in the park. There are many signs to direct you in the right direction; all you have to do is keep your eyes open and follow the signs. The trail goes down into the valley, over a bridge, and by Cedar Creek, which leads to the 95 foot waterfall. This is one of the tallest flowing waterfalls in the state. On the way down the trail there are huge stones that are an easy way to get down to the creek. Once you reach the creek there is a bridge you cross and after you cross that bridge you take a right on the trail. Once you are at this point you have a half mile until you get to the waterfall.

CCC Bluff Overlook: Once you enter the park from the east side you will keep on this road, passing Mathers Lodge. Keep on going for about a half mile and you will end up by a bluff with a fence on the right. There is a little parking lot where you can park your car, and get out to enjoy the view. It overlooks the Cedar Creek Canyon - this is one amazing view, and photographers love this place during sunsets.
