Description

Added by Breanne McNitt

Fremont Saddle via Peralta Canyon Trail leads through the beautiful Superstition Mountains to a breath-taking view of Weavers Needle.

After taking Peralta Road all the way to the end, park your car in the parking lot and you'll see the sign for the trail head. Sign in at the register and then begin our hike on Peralta Trail.

This trail winds through the canyon and then takes you up switch backs until you reach the saddle. The breath-taking view of Weavers Needle may convince you to stop here for the day, but I suggest going a bit farther.

From the Saddle you will see a tree off to the right a bit- that is your next destination. So head right (North) on the trail and follow this path until you get to your final destination for the day. Scramble around on the rocks and enjoy a beautiful view of Weavers Needle while you eat some snacks.

After taking in this view for as long as you please, turn back around and head down the way you came. A quick decent will get you back to the trail register in no time.
