BEAUTIFUL views and all with minimal effort! This is an easy 1.5 mile mike round-trip and well worth the walk. Plus, it's only 10 minutes away from Antelope Canyon.
The overlook at Horseshoe Bend is 4,200 feet (1,300 m) above sea level, and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet (980 m) above sea level, making it a 1,000-foot (300 m) drop! Scary!
Don't let the scary part deter you though, this place is amazing. Parking is simple, there's a parking lot right at the trailhead which leads to a dirt path that is clearly defined and leads you directly to some legit views.
Once you walk a little over half a mile (with very very very limited incline) you'll come across this majestic beauty and have the freedom to walk around, take photos, and even climb some giant boulders off to the side if you wish. Granted these are no rock climbing boulders with routes, but they are huge and still fun to monkey around on!
