Description

Surrounded by mountains and wildlife it seems the the trails here never end.
I lived 10 miles from here for 10 months and went often. Starting from here it is an easy walking/hiking trail. After a few miles walking along the river it gets narrower, more exciting and the difficultly level goes up the farther you go..There are loops you can do in the beginning depending how long you want to hike. I wanted to do crows pass which is about 25 miles and starts at Alyeska in Gridwood (Very Cool Place) half way you need to cross a river and it ends here. Bears are commonly spotted.. and the water is cold.

Eagle River Nature Center Trailhead Reviews
It felt like you can't get any farther into nature. Never knowing whats around the corner made it exciting for me.
