Hike to Shirley Lake

I hiked this around the age of 15 with my father. Our family has backpacked here for generations before there was a campground! This is an amazing hike and while it has some incline and confusing spots it's a fairly good trail. The views are insane and after reaching Shirley lake we continued onto Valaite lake. We ended up climbing up the peak and getting breathtaking views of the wind river range. We also found open geodes and fossils along the rocks near the peak. I'm headed back this summer and I cannot wait!
