Swanson Meadow Campground in Sierra National Forest is a tranquil, shaded, relaxing option for those seeking to enjoy Shaver Lake.
Swanson Meadow Campground is a small campground that operates on a first come, first serve basis. The campground is very close to the shore of Shaver Lake and all the activities associated - fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, stargazing, and more. Boats are available for rental from the Shaver Lake Marina. The campground is typically open from June through September. Pets are allowed, but must be kept on leash. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, food locker, and campfire ring. The fee is $22/night for a single site, $44/night for a double site, and $5/night per additional vehicle.
The campground provides bathrooms. The nearest town to purchase supplies is nearby Shaver Lake.
