Smalley Cove Campground is nestled on the shore of the Kerckhoff Reservoir, in the beautiful Sierra foothills.
This campground operates on a first-come first-serve basis. Oaks and pine trees provide adequate shade. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and grill. The campground provides toilets and drinking water. Smalley Cove Campground is typically open year-round, but check with the U.S. Forest Service before going. The campground fee is $14/night, $3/additional vehicle, and $1 for pets.
There are lots of activities to pursue while staying at Smalley Cove: hiking, trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, yoga, and photography.
