Only half a mile from the McKinley Grove of Giant Sequoias, Gigantea Campground is a charming location that is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Gigantea Campground operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. The campground is well shaded by sweet-smelling cedar, fir, and pine trees. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and grill. Trash service is not provided, so pack out everything you bring in. The campground offers potable water and vault toilets. The camping fee is $22/night, with $7 for each additional vehicle. Max group size per site is 6. Gigantea has far less noise pollution than nearby Swanson Meadows. Gigantea is open from May - October.

You can find basic supplies and coin showers in nearby Dinkey Creek, a 15 minute drive.
