Description

Added by Laura DeMers

This hike is very short with a spectacular view of frozen streams and a huge pond with towering mountains behind it. Absolutely stunning!

The trail, by January, was quite well packed down from all the snowshoe adventurers that we walked easily with regular hiking shoes and the lake was only about half a mile in with the trail being decently level the whole way.

Photograph Snow Covered Gold Creek Pond, Snoqualmie WA Reviews

This is one of my absolute favorite spots to photograph in the mountains. On a clear day, there are incredible views of mountains all around. If you get out here before the snow gets too deep, you can drive right up to a parking lot by the lake. Being so close to the freeway, it's the perfect rest stop!
