Kayak at Fountainhead Regional Park

Fairfax Station, Virginia

Description

Added by Natalie Toma

The is an easy, half-day trip that you can take if you're feeling lazy in Northern Virginia.

The location can be easily found with a GPS. Parking is free but to rent kayaks is about $14 an hour (you can bring your own kayak). They also have paddleboards and canoes. It's a very peaceful area and once you are done kayaking you can sit and eat lunch. There is also a cute little town on the river near by that you can eat at and look at the sailboats docked.
