Get amazing views of Lake Mountain on the western shore. Easily launch your SUP or kayak from the beach. Time it right and catch an amazing sunset toward the end of your paddle. Duration: A couple hours.
Vineyard beach offers up a convenient place to get your SUP or kayak in the water. This spot is free to enter and allows for swimmers, so if you get tired or just want to hang out, this is a great spot for you. And unlike it's neighbor, Utah Lake is completely fresh water.
When you head out on your paddle, you can start paddling west to check out Lake Mountain along the coast of the west side of the lake. You'll also be able to see the Wasatch Range to the east and Traverse Mountains to the north. Time it just right and catch the sunset as you're paddling in.
If you're looking to catch your dinner, and you're safe with a rod in the kayak or on your SUP, you can give fishing a shot here. If you need a kayak or SUP rental, you can head to Lindon Marina. They rent boards and are less than a mile from the beach.

Sunset Paddle on Utah Lake Reviews
We went during the day, so no sunset for us, but the Lindon Marina has a great deal on Mondays. $25 per car (up to 5 people, $5 per extra person) gets you unlimited access to their rentals from 9AM-9PM. That includes kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, a paddle boat and more. It was awesome and we spent a couple hours on the lake, plus there is the option to come back later if you want.
