Description
Added by David Mortensen
Hike the historical trail of the old railroad of the Central Pacific and union pacific where they crossed paths.
This trail is easy for all levels of hikers. You'll begin the trail on the central Pacific's grade where they build the railroad, and return on the union Pacific's grade.
The big fill trail is a 1.5 mile loop that will take you about 1-1.5 hours to walk, but an avid hiker will be able to go through faster.
An awesome part of this hike is being able to see the deep cuts that the company had to make to keep the elevation and seeing how they did it in the 1800's.
