An amazing 2 hour hike to the old Eagle's Nest Lodge. This restaurant was once accessible via tram, but was burnt down in a fire. However, the base of the restaurant still remains with quite the scenic view of Provo Canyon.
The trail begins at the base of Bridal Veil Falls located in Provo Canyon. Take the trail on the left side (if you're facing the mountain) up to the highest waterfall. Cross the waterfall and you will find your first rope. After the rope, veer left to find multiple ropes awaiting you. Be cautious and wear gloves because some of the ropes are actually frayed metal cords. Once you reach the top of the first set of ropes follow the stream until you see a trail on the right. You will find more rope which will lead you to the restaurant. Be extremely cautious because it is steep. This hike is not for children. There are also several different paths you can take. However, the one mentioned above is the most convenient. Expect about 2 hours of hiking to the top and 2 hours down as well. CAREFUL CAREFUL CAREFUL!
