Makes a great escape from the heat of the great sand dunes! The hike is short and sweet but you will require some trodding upstream if you want to see the falls. I visited in mid August and found it quite crowded but glad to see people enjoying it.

McCullough Gulch to Upper Blue Reservoir

Absolutely gorgeous! We hiked in mid may so there was still some snow scattered here and there which made finding the trail sometimes difficult. This is an exhausting trail, except frequent intense inclines and jagged rocks but its well worth the effort!
