Located along the Long Island Sound, this 147-acre conservancy is home to a plethora of different birds, including marsh wrens, seaside sparrows, and American woodcocks. Yosemite Creek Campground is on Tioga Road north of the valley at 7,700' elevation. There is a stream at this campsite which you can filter if you don't want to bring a lot of water. Offers access to unforgettable hiking trails. Open July-September. Bring your own tent and $12 for a site. Sites 47 and 49 are handicap accessible. 

This scenic hike through Betasso Preserve is especially beautiful at sunset. Catch views of Boulder as you hike through meadows of wildflowers, and forests of Ponderosa Pine.

The trailhead is located off of Evelyn Lane (see map). Trail is dog friendly and accessible year-round. Trails may be difficult to navigate during and after rain. Trails are also used for birding and nature trips.  This segment is out-and-back, so plan ahead accordingly!
